William J. "Billy Joe" Vannorman

William Joseph "Billy Joe" Vannorman, age 62, of Versailles, died Thursday, November 24, 2011, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
He was born October 19, 1949, in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of Arthur E. And Betty L. Huntington Vannorman. In November of 1969, in Kansas City, Kansas, Billy Joe was united in marriage to Flayr Rochelle Birdsong. Rochelle preceded him in death February 1, 2009.
At the time of his death, Billy Joe was employed with Quality Industries in Versailles, where he worked for approximately 20 years.
He enjoyed playing Texas Hold'um with his buddies in Versailles. He liked to go fishing, play with his dog, Muffy and go to Sedalia where he could visit with Barb, his companion.
Survivors include his companion, Barb McNeal of Sedalia; several other relatives and his "family" at Quality Industries.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Sean Dale Vannorman and one daughter, Rosemary Vannorman.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. A Memorial Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 6, in the Versailles Cemetery.
