William Lee "Bill" Stahl, 82, of Clarksburg, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Valley Park Retirement Center in California, surrounded by family.
He was born February 19, 1942, in Otterville, son of Grover Clyde and Opal Eugenia (Homan) Stahl. He was proud to have purchased the family farm at age 16.
On July 14, 1961, at First Baptist Church in Tipton, he was married to Jean (Newkirk).

Bill was a lifelong farmer and looked at his work from the perspective of being a steward of God's creation. Everything he did he did as "unto the Lord." He also owned and operated a backhoe and trucking business, sold seed for Northrup King Seed, built houses for a while, and was an auctioneer.
He was a talented musician, songwriter, and could play about any instrument. He and fellow "jammers" performed at many local events and were regular entertainers at local churches and nursing homes.
