Virginia Louise Bruning

Virginia L. Bruning, age 80, Russellville died Saturday, December 19, 2009, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born November 26, 1929, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Dave and Anna Marie Vieth Kauffman, both deceased. She married Bernard F. Bruning April 24, 1965, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Russellville. He preceded her in death July 30, 1992.
She was employed with International Shoe in Jefferson City. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Russellville.
Virginia enjoyed quilting and helping on the family farm.
Survivors include one son, Frank Bruning, Jefferson City; one brother, John Kauffman and wife, Eunice, Jefferson City and two sisters, Berniece Luecke and Anna Mae Hentges and husband, Paul, all of Jefferson City.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, William and Bernard Kauffman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30a.m. Tuesday, December 22, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Russellville. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends will be received from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Michael Catholic Church.
