Thelma Nadine Emmerich

October 13, 1930 — April 30, 2011

Thelma N. Emmerich, age 80, of Sedalia, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Resthaven Care Center in Sedalia.
She was born October 13, 1930, in Sagrada, Missouri, a daughter of Norman Ralph and Gurthie Jones Wall. Thelma was married to Charles Emmerich, and to this union five children were born.
For many years Thelma worked at Brown Shoe Factory and Primo Pants Factory, both located in Versailles.
Thelma was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed embroidery work and all kinds of sewing. However, her greatest enjoyment came from being with her family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.
Survivors include four children and their spouses, Danny and Betty Emmerich of California; Bruce and Jana Emmerich of Cole Camp; Patty and Kerry Turpin of Sedalia and Rick and Teresa Emmerich of Versailles; one brother and sister-in-law, Ralph Jr., and Sook Wall of Sierra Vista, Arizona; two sisters-in-law, Mary Wall of Jefferson City and Moni Wall of Eldon; fifteen grandchildren, Holly, Scott, Sarah, Tyler, Cody, Cheyenne, Sierra, Nikki, Chris, Lindsey, Bo, Kerry, Jeff, Marci and Troy, fourteen great grandchildren, also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Larry Emmerich, two brothers, Raymond and Roy Wall and one sister, Betty Hirschvogel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 4, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. Interment will be in the Stover Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 3, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.
