Teri Martin Franklin Campbell, age 62, of Stover, died Saturday, January 26, 2013, at her home.
She was born August 27, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of Donald W. and Mary C. Frye Martin. On September 28, 2005, in Forsyth, Teri was united in marriage to Donnie Campbell who survives at the home.
Teri attended grade school at St. Gabriel's and high school at St. Pius X, both located in Kansas City.
She retired from the McDorman - Hayden Law Offices in Versailles as office manager.
In 2005, Teri helped establish the Stover Quilting Club, serving as Vice President in 2009 and in 2011. She taught quilting, tatting, and embroidery. She entered and won various ribbons at the Missouri State Fair for quilting and tatting.
Teri a regular blood donor, enjoyed riding with her husband on their Harley-Davidson and loved fishing.
She was a silent pillar of the Stover community through her kindness and caring for each person she met. She had an uncanny ability for tenderness and compassion for others. Her family, her friends and the community will sorely miss her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mary Martin of Stover; one son, Randall Franklin and wife Jean of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one stepson, Darrell Campbell of Oak Grove; one stepdaughter, Hannah Kennison and husband "Twig" of Kansas City; two brothers, Donald Martin of Jacksonville, Florida and Joseph Martin of Olathe, Kansas; three grandchildren, Robert, Ross and Ryan and one step granddaughter, Hayden.
A Celebration of Teri's life will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with Larry Marriott officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
