Sue Miesner, age 80, of Stover, died Friday, December 28, 2012, at her home.
She was born February 28, 1932, in Versailles, a daughter of Josh and Mildred Yarnell Frisbie. On June 19, 1965, Sue was united in marriage to Merwin Miesner who survives at their home.
She was a graduate of Versailles High School.
Sue was employed as a dental assistant in Dr. Otho Washburn's dental office in Versailles until he retired. She later retired from Wal-Mart in Versailles.
Sue was confirmed as an adult in 1965 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stover by Rev. Heimsoth. She remained a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and also served as a teacher's aide at St. Paul's Lutheran School.
Sue and Merwin worked side by side on the family farm, she on one tractor and he on the other. However, her greatest enjoyment came being with her family. She loved spending time with children, whether it was reading to the students at St. Paul's or taking care of her own grandchildren.
