Sarah Ann Webb-Wilson, age 58, of Boonville, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2019, at her home.
She was born August 7, 1960, in Dumas, Texas, a daughter of Calvin Eugene and Eupha Dell Gillentine Webb.
Sarah married Richard Eugene "Gene" Bryson and to this union two children were born. She married Virgil L. Wilson, Jr. who preceded her in death.
In 1978, Sarah graduated from Slater High School. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Missouri Valley College in 1988 and her Masters of Education and English degree from Fort Hays State University in 2010.
Sarah’s passion was teaching English and Language Arts to high school students. Her career began in the Gallatin High School in 1989, teaching until 1990 and with North Callaway High School from 1992 – 1993. In 1997 Sarah was employed with the Madison C-3 High School and remained there until 2002. For three years, from 2002 until 2005, she was with the Bevier C-4 public school and from 2005 until 2014, at the Tina-Avalon school district. In 2016, she retired from the Carrolton R-VII school district when her health began to fail her.
After moving to Boonville to be near her daughter, she joined the Riverside Christian Church.
Sarah looked forward to being outdoors horseback riding, but most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include two children, Alicia Hawkins of Boonville and Richie Bryson of Slater; her mother, Eupha Dell Webb of Chillicothe; five siblings and their spouses, Rev. Dinzel and Diane Webb of Russellville; Audine and Dennis McBeth of Winters, Texas; Rena Webb of St. Joseph; Sharla and John Whitsitt of Kansas City and Gaylena and Roy Teckemeyer of Slater; two grandchildren Aunaka and Jonah Hawkins, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Sarah was preceded in death by her father and two siblings, Doran and Delda Fay Webb.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, at the Riverside Christian Church, 17111 Klinton Drive, Boonville, MO 65233.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 29, at the church.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 29, at the Stover Cemetery in Stover, Missouri.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Riverside Christian Church.
