Ruth Annette Walraven, age 77, of Stover, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born January 21, 1931, in Greenwood, Arkansas a daughter of Willie and Faye McConnell. At her 50th high school class reunion she was reunited with a classmate, Bobby W. Walraven and on May 30, 2000, they were married. Bobby survives at their home.
She was a 1948 graduate of Greenwood High School. She was a data processor for Mervins Department Store in the state of California.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and fishing with her husband.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Margie Stanton of San Lorenzo, California; a stepson, Kenneth Walraven of Kansas City; a stepdaughter, Edna Earle of Independence; two brothers, Clifton McConnell of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Delbert McConnell of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Brian, Sean, Victoria and Wilfred, three great grandchildren, Zoe, Zac and Ava, her little buddy, Casey and all of her family in the cove.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Helen Keyes.
In keeping with her family's wishes, she was cremated. Arrangements by Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Stover.
