Russell "Al" Allan Wilkinson

Russell Allan "Al" Wilkinson, age 80, of Stover, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016, in Stover.
He was born January 7, 1936, in Ottawa, Illinois a son of Russell Wilkinson and Mary Neal.
He served his country as a paratrooper in the US Army.
Al worked at several different professions through the years. He worked installing electronic equipment and did so for Roy Rogers at his ranch in the state of California, as a gunsmith in the state of Nevada, and as an electronics repairman for several years in various locations.
He enjoyed fixing cars and tinkering with anything mechanical. Al was an animal lover, who was especially fond of his dachshunds.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Hank Humme of Versailles; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Julie Milligan of New Mexico; along with other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Yvonne, and a sister, Kathleen Keese.
In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
