Ruby Margaret Pohlman, age 84, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
She was born January 10, 1929, in Versailles, a daughter of Arthur and Daisy Johns Boyer. She married Clarence Pohlman, who preceded her in death.
Ruby worked at Robinsons Department Store in Los Angeles, California for several years.
In 1991, Ruby returned to Missouri, to be near her sisters and brothers.
She was a member of the Living Waters Church in Sedalia, where she enjoyed spending time with her church family.
Survivors include two sisters, Alice Coghill of Sedalia and Flossie Riley and husband Jim of Versailles; one brother, Jack Wilson and wife Joan of Versailles; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, Ruby was preceded in death by her father and mother, her stepfather, Eph Wilson; one brother, Roy Wilson and one sister, Etta Pryor.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles. Interment will be in the West Lawn Addition of the Versailles Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Thursday.
