Ronald Reno Brunjes

Ronald Reno Brunjes, age 53, of Stover, died Monday, December 24, 2012, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia. He was born February 26, 1959, in Jefferson City, a son of Reno John and Alice Marie Crenshaw Brunjes, who preceded him in death. On December 7, 1996, he was united in marriage to Mary Woodward, who survives at their home. He was a 1977 graduate of Stover High School and attended Eldon Vo-Tech for two years. As a young man he worked at the Missouri Goldfish Hatchery and G.W. Lumber, both in Stover. In 1985, Ron joined the Missouri National Guard, retiring as a Specialist in 1996. He was a lifelong member of the Trinity Lutheran Church-Pyrmont. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, he survived by one son, John Brunjes of Versailles; one daughter, Misty Brunjes and companion Joshua Crum of Stover; a step daughter, Heather Offield and husband Dallas of Stover; one brother, Mark Brunjes and wife Veronica of Stover; two sisters, Kathy Hunter and husband Bob of Stover and Brenda Dollison and husband Randy of Tipton; two grandchildren, Autumn and Tenliegh Crum, nieces and nephews, Evan, Gabriel and Angelica Brunjes, Brandy Dollison and her children, Kiersten and R.J., Jessey Hunter, Joshua Hunter and wife Daniell and their children Josh Jr., and Adrianna, and Sarah Hunter, along with other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, at the Trinity Lutheran Church-Pyrmont with P.M.A. Gary Wahlers officiating. Interment, with military honors, will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Pyrmont. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church on Saturday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Trinity Lutheran Church-Pyrmont.
