Robert "Bob" Jewell Cowell

Robert Jewell "Bob" Cowell, age 64, of Sedalia, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia.
He was born February 4, 1947, in Benton County, a son of Jewell Conrad and Charlotte Gregory Cowell.
On November 12, 2010, in Sedalia, he was united in marriage to Robin E. Wilder Rowell, who survives at their home.
For most of his life, Bob was an over-the-road truck driver, hauling everything from grain to railroad ties.
He enjoyed reading and watching westerns, playing his guitar and fishing. Bob had a passion for old "Chevy's" and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, John David Rowell and Justin Robert Rowell, both of Tampa, Florida; a brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sue Cowell of Versailles; also other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jewell C. Cowell, his mother, Charlotte Jacks, his stepfather, Donald Jacks, one brother, Johnny Cowell and one sister, Caroline Cowell.
Bob was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
