Raymond Davis McCollom, age 65, a lifelong resident of Stover, died Monday evening, September 10, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born January 7, 1947, in Stover, a son of Floyd Webb and Lucy Mae McCollom.
Raymond was a woodcutter by trade, spending many hours cutting and hauling timber in the Stover area.
He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include five children, Pamela Jordan and husband William of Plato; Donnie Webb of Tipton; Raymond Webb and special friend Billie Robertson of Latham; Raymond Don McCollom and fiancé Chantel Jones of Stover and Misty McCollom and husband Trent of Stover; three half-brothers, twelve grandchildren (with number thirteen due in February) nine great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Ricky Webb.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, at Chaney Chapel Cemetery south of Stover. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Friday at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Raymond D. McCollom memorial fund.
