Randy Harold Randall

August 1, 1948 — July 3, 2013

Randy Harold Randall, age 64, of Stover, passed away, at his home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 1, 1948, in Sedalia, a son of Harold Franklin and Nigel Hibdon Randall.
Randy married Linda Mahnken and to this union three children were born. Linda and her husband Bill Griffing survive in Florence. He married Connie Wyatt King, who preceded him in death. He later married Carol McMillen Allen, who survives at their home. Randy was a member of Engineers Local 101 in Kansas City, Missouri, working for Clarkson Construction Company as a heavy equipment operator until his health failed him. He was a member of the Stover First Baptist Church. Randy loved being outdoors, where he could ride motorcycles, go hunting or spend an afternoon fishing with the lures he made himself. He enjoyed good food, good company and was a good friend. However, his greatest enjoyment came from being with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Harold Randall and wife Lois of Stover; Mike Randall and wife Wendy of Versailles; and Cameron Randall of Stover; six stepsons, Tony King, Shawn King and wife Sherri and Sonny Allen all of Stover; Rick Allen and Vincent Allen of Las Vegas, Nevada and Brian Allen of Liberty; one stepdaughter, Angela Cole of Springfield; two brothers, Cody Randall and wife Kay of Potosi and Ronald Randall and wife Donna of Florence; three sisters, Jennie Martin of Versailles, Waneta Mertgen and Vickey and Walt Worthley all of Stover; thirty-two grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Randy was also preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Lori Ann Utterback and one stepson, Jeff King. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated. A Celebration of Randy's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at Randy and Carol's home, on Highway WW south of Stover, with Rev. Jeremy Caudel officiating. A potluck luncheon will follow the service, with everyone invited to attend. Bring your favorite dish, lawn chair and special memories of Randy to share. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice Compassus or the American Cancer Society.
