Penni Sue Wilson of Stover passed from complications of COPD on Thursday, February 20, 2025. She was born August 2, 1968. Penni was preceded in death by her mother Virginia Wilson, and her brother Scott Wilson.
Survived by three daughters Alecia Harlan of Illinois, Kelli Wilson of Osage Beach, Natali Wilson of Russellville, her son Rori Wilson of Stover, two sisters, Carol Wilson of Colorado, and Deborah Wilson of Colorado.
Penni will be remembered as a great friend to many, a bit of a drill sergeant to others, a force of nature, and being as stubborn as a Missouri mule. She will forever be known as someone who was willing to help her friends through their own situations. Many of you may remember her as Peggi Sue from KS95, where she worked through the 90's and early 2000's. Penni could also be found goat herding and rescuing cats up until she had a stroke several years ago. If you really knew Penni, you'd know she could usually be found chain smoking to the point of looking as if she was a dragon with smoke billowing from its nose. And depending on her mood she was probably drinking Dr. Pepper or coffee (sometimes with a shot of Baileys).
Penni passed peacefully, surrounded by her wonderfully caring medical staff as she was mad at her children for making sure she was in a safe environment and didn't allow for them to be notified until the end. Despite that, we know she had many wonderful qualities and could make you laugh your butt off.
Arrangements are under the care of the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover.
