Peggy Sue Shackelford Robison

February 25, 1957 — July 1, 2012

Peggy Sue Shackelford Robison, age 55, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died Sunday, July 1, 2012, in Tulsa, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born February 25, 1957, in Oregon state, a daughter of Robert D. and Jeanne DeGroff Shackelford, who preceded her in death.
Peggy was a 1975 graduate of Stover High School and attended SMSU in Springfield.
Her true calling was in the health care field, where she was a nurse for most of her adult life. At the time of her death she was employed with Tulsa Spine and Specialty Hospital.
Peggy had a kind heart and was a true care giver. She also was an animal lover, especially to her two dogs, Jughead and Little Girl.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Jeannie Shackelford and her sister and brother-in-law, Beckie and Keith Packard all of Versailles; a daughter, Jacqueline Robison a Medic in the US Army stationed in Ft. Riley, Kansas; her former husband, Jack Robison of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three nieces, Amanda Kesel and husband Andrew of Kansas City; Bobbilynn Koepke and husband David of Nixa and Carley Nichols of Springfield; a special friend, Chester "Buddy" Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma, along with many friends.
Services will be 6:00 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles, with the family receiving friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jeanne Shackelford Memorial Art Fund at Norwood High School in Norwood, Missouri.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated following the services on Saturday.
