Paula Rose Sullivan Comstock

Paula Rose Sullivan Comstock, age 73, of Versailles, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 5, 2011.
She was born July 21, 1937, in Bedford, Indiana, the only child of Clarence and Eula Mae Rose Hubbard. On September 8, 2005, Paula married her longtime companion Rodney Comstock in Versailles. Rodney survives at their home.
For several years Paula managed Shorty's convenience store, which later became the Jiffy Stop in Versailles. She retired from the Dixon-Ticonderoga Pencil Factory in Versailles, where she worked for almost 12 years.
Paula enjoyed being outdoors. She loved to go camping, fishing, hunting and throughly enjoyed the winter, when she could go sledding. She stayed busy tending to her numerous farm animals, especially her goats and her cat. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and friends, and spoiling her great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Kenny Sullivan and wife Gina of Bedford, Indiana; Carole Ann Skinner and husband Brian of Bedford, Indiana; Connie Hettenbach and husband Jeff of Atlanta, Georgia; Kevin Sullivan and wife Michelle of Versailles and Chris Sullivan and her companion Charlie Magers of Jefferson City; twelve grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Jason, Jonathan, Anthony, John, Nathan, Casey, Jacob, Jordan, Zachary and Josh, ten great grandchildren, Kaylee, Daven, Nevaeh, Emma, Kierra, Kayla, Jabrie, Clayton, Hailey and Kalissa, (a great grandson, Kingston is due in March) also other relatives and friends.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 8, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles, with the family receiving friends from 12:30 P.M. until service time. Interment will take place at a later date in the Versailles Cemetery.
