Paul Vincel Bond

Paul Vincel Bond, age 94, of Jefferson City, passed away, Thursday night, November 26, 2015, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
He was born August 13, 1921, in Cole County a son of Paul and Golda Scruggs Bond.
On June 8, 1940 in Tipton, Vincel was united in marriage to Marie Blank who preceded him in death January 28, 1984. On July 11, 1986, he married Bernedia "Neda" Elder Pulliam who preceded him in death December 17, 2005.
He was a Navy Veteran, serving his country in World War II aboard the USS South Dakota.
Following the war, Vincel and Marie moved to the St. Louis area, where he was employed in Food service management with a local hospital in Kirkwood.
In 1984, following the death of Marie, Vincel retired and moved to the Gravois Mills area. He later moved to St. Martin's where he resided until his health begin to fail him.
He was a member of the Russellville Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include three children, Carol Frey and husband Bill, Jr., of Jasper, Alabama; Gary Bond and wife Wanda Lee of Holts Summit, and Pam Bond of Granite City, Illinois; a special friend, Maxine Rollins of Jefferson City; one sister, Annabel Henry and husband Emil of Centralia; six grandchildren, Lisa Crump of Jasper, Alabama; Gary Bond II and wife Billye and Cindy Piant all of Jefferson City; Dawn Rinehart of Granite City, Illinois; Rob Rinehart and wife Mildred of Sorento, Illinois, and Shane Bond and wife Michelle of O'Fallon; eight great grandchildren, Clint and Zachary Bond, Dane Piant, Dillon, Jordan, and Taylor Rinehart, and Faith and Hope Bond.
In addition to his wives, Vincel was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Michael Bond, one grandson, Bill Frey III, a sister, Virginia Hogg and a brother-in-law, Raymond Hogg.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with Rev. Kevin Kohler officiating. Interment, with military honors, will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Russellville.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 1 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
