Patti K. Schehr

Patti K. Schehr, age 57, of Versailles, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at her home.
She was born March 12, 1956, in Warrensburg, a daughter of Dr. Charles S. and Ila M. Henrikson Eppright.
On April 17, 1982, at the Versailles United Methodist Church, Patti was united in marriage to Kevin P. Schehr, who survives at their home.
Patti was a 1974 graduate of Versailles High School and a 1978 graduate of the University of Missouri, with a degree in Elementary Education.
Patti's teaching career spanned 31 years, beginning in the Southern Boone County R-I school district in Ashland, where she taught 4th grade for six years. She recently retired from the Morgan County R-II school district in Versailles, after 26 years of employment.
She was a member of the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Versailles and the Missouri State Teacher's Association.
Patti looked forward to spending time outdoors and being with family and friends. However, her greatest enjoyments in life were being a mother and teaching.
In addition to her husband of 31 years, she is survived by a daughter, Mallory Schehr-Hutchison and husband Seth of Versailles; her mother, Ila Eppright of Versailles; one brother, Tom Eppright and wife Janice and their children, Margaret and Charles Eppright of Shaker Heights, Ohio; one sister, Martha Roussin (Chuck Roussin) and their children, Charlie and Katie Roussin of Boynton Beach, Florida; a sister-in-law, Elaine (Mrs. Frank) Eppright and their daughters, Caroline Eppright, Elizabeth "Libby" Stone and husband Kevin and Melanie Eppright of Lenexa, Kansas; along with other relatives and many friends.
Patti was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Frank Eppright.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4, at the St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Versailles. Interment will be in the Oak Park Addition of the Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, May 3, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles. Friends may come by the funeral home from 2:00-4:00 p.m. to pay their respects. The family will be at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 p.m. to receive friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Patti K. Schehr Benevolent Fund for the Morgan County R-II Elementary School in Versailles.
