Patricia "Pat" J. Yarnell

Patricia Jane "Pat" Yarnell, age 60, of Syracuse, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014, at the Christian Health and Rehab Center in Lebanon.
She was born August 1, 1954, in Sedalia, a daughter of Clarence N. "Newt" and Gertrude "Lucille" LeBegue Griffing. On January 10, 2000, Pat was united in marriage to Roger C. Yarnell, who preceded her in death January 27, 2009.
She worked as the fuel desk manager for the Oak Grove Truck Stop for many years.
She was a member of the Florence United Methodist Church.
Pat enjoyed being outdoors, tending to her garden, keeping her yard, raising chickens and spoiling her dog, Toby. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include two daughters, Karla Reeder of Lebanon and Rebecca Hughes of Concordia; one brother, Bill Griffing and wife Linda of Florence; three sisters, Wanda Sue Carver and Linda Warren of Syracuse and Marlene Schroder and husband Dwight of Florence; a sister-in-law, Gail Griffing of Florence; four grandchildren, Christopher Reeder and wife Haley of Odessa; Malin Reeder and Cody Capps of Lee's Summit; Alora Reeder of Grain Valley and Britney Hayes and Tyler Wilson of Stover; three great grandchildren, Mahalia Reeder, Rylee Mae Capps, McKinley Wilson and Elijah Mathew Capps, who arrived September 26, 2014, along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband Pat was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Clarence Griffing, Jr., a sister, Connie Winnie and a grandson, Stephen Hayes.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, at the Florence United Methodist Church with Pastor Jorge Arvelo officiating, with the family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time at the church. Interment will be in the Florence UMC Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pat Yarnell memorial fund.
