Patricia "Pat" Stubinger

Patricia "Pat" Stubinger, age 72, of Lohman, Missouri, died Monday, September 27, 2010, at her home.
She was born April 27, 1938, in Protection, Kansas, a daughter of Claude "Bud" and Grace Carson Prilliman, who are both deceased.
Pat married Don Junker and to this union three children were born. He preceded her in death. On March 17, 1990, she married Ralph Stubinger, who preceded her in death March 22, 2007.
Pat was employed with the Missouri State Water Patrol as a communications officer, retiring July 1, 2003, after 25 years of employment.
In the early years, Pat worked in Sales in a department store in Iowa and for a Band uniform manufacturer in Illiniois. She later assisted her former husband in his photography studio, managing the financial aspects of the business. While living in Versailles, Missouri she worked for Farm Bureau, before taking a job at the Montgomery Wards Store in Jefferson City and then the Water Patrol.
When her children were young, Pat was involved in all of their activities, serving as President of the PTA and as a home-room mom for many years.
Pat had a creative side. As a young woman she loved to sing and play music. She later turned her talents to floral arranging, and was known for her love of Christmas decorating, especially her extensive collection of Department 56 pieces. She also enjoyed her dream vacation with her family to Hawaii. She was a devoted wife and mother, who throughly enjoyed becoming a grandmother and spoiling her grandchildren. She also showered her affection on her special four-legged companion, "Buddy."
Survivors include three children, Jonathan Junker and wife, Gayle of Edmond, Oklahoma; twin daughters, Joan Junker and Joyce Andrews and husband Brian, all of Arlington, Texas; one brother, Ron Prilliman and wife, Barbara of Mooresville, Indiana; one sister, Charlotte Meek and husband Chuck of Lohman, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jacob, Karissa and Zachary Junker of Edmond and Brandon Andrews of Arlington; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Pat was also preceded in death by two brothers, Claude "Buddy" Prilliman, Jr. and Ted Darrell Prilliman.
Funeral services will be 5:00 P.M. Thursday, September 30, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville, with the family receiving friends from 3:00-5:00 P.M.
Interment will be Saturday, October 2, in the Protection Cemetery in Protection, Kansas.
