Pansy Gene Milford, age 71, of Moulton, Iowa died unexpectedly Sunday evening, July 26, 2020, at her daughter’s home near Florence.
Pansy was born May 6, 1949, in Putnam County, Missouri a daughter of Lloyd V. and Hallie Robb Husted. She grew up in Iowa, along with her five brothers and four sisters.
Pansy married Thomas Paul Milford and to this union three children were born, Willa, Libby and Billy.
She worked various jobs throughout her adult life; however for 22 years she helped raise her oldest grandson, Dennis.
She enjoyed reading, cross-stitch, working crossword puzzles and being sassy to anyone she met. For the past few weeks she had been visiting with her daughter, Libby.
Survivors include two daughters, Willa Marie Parks of Centerville, Iowa and Pansy “Libby” Adcox and her husband Larry of Florence; one brother, Harold Husted of Montrose, Iowa; four sisters, Lois Kellow of Centerville, Iowa; Bonnie Rhoades of Centerville, Iowa; Dinnia Ramsey of Marshalltown, Iowa and Ruth Husted of Cincinnati, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Dennis Milford, Rachel Elizabeth Adcox, Tabitha Christine Milford, Sabrina Ann Milford, Dakota Milford, Zachary Harson and Randeanna Davies, along with several nieces and nephews.
Pansy was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Clell Robb, James Robb, Donnie Husted and Lyle Husted, one granddaughter, Amanda Milford and her former husband, Tom Milford.
Her wishes were to be cremated with burial in the Lucerne Cemetery in Lucerne, Missouri at a later date.
