Osa Mae Hall

Osa Mae Hall, age 83, of Versailles, died Saturday, November 27, 2010, at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City.
She was born October 31, 1927, in Versailles, a daughter of Jess and Rosie Bell Wood Ritchie. On April 8, 1946, in Versailles, Osa Mae was united in marriage to John Elmer Hall, Jr., who preceded her in death January 25, 2002.
As a young woman she worked at Whitaker Cable in Kansas City. After returning to mid-Missouri Osa Mae worked at Fasco in Eldon and Tipton, the K.C. Bifocal Plant in Versailles and Primo Jacket Factory also in Versailles.
She was a member of the Lakeside Community Church in Gravois Mills.
Osa Mae was an accomplished musician, playing guitar and singing. She loved to cook for her family and enjoyed the time they could spend together. She also loved to stay busy, and was often seen giving rides to family and friends who needed transportation.
Survivors include, two daughters, JoAnn Rumbo of Versailles and Pattie Williams and husband Don of Sunrise Beach; one son, David Hall of California; one brother, Clyde Ritchie and wife Jan of Lexington; two sisters, Goldie Hamel of Sedalia and Novaline Morgan of Odessa; 20 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Steve Hall and John W. "Butch" Hall, two brothers, Freddie Ritchie and Vernon "Doc" Ritchie, two sisters, Martha Farmer and Eunice Jenkins, one granddaughter and one great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 1, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Landon "Cap" Chapman officiating. Interment will be in the Ritchie Cemetery south of Versailles.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 1, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lakeside Community Church.
