Myrl Kathryn Kraxberger

Myrl Kathryn Kraxberger, age 96, of Stover, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Tipton Oak Manor in Tipton.
She was born September 5, 1914, in Versailles, a daughter Stanley and Sophia Kate Cline Eyman. On November 4, 1935, in Versailles, Myrl was united in marriage to Alfred C. "Fritz" Kraxberger, who preceded her in death March 15, 1988.
She was a graduate of Versailles High School.
Myrl was employed at Smithson's Incorporated in Stover for many years.
She was a longtime member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Stover, where she was active in the WELCA, a member of the Alter Guild, was Chairman of the Christ Lutheran Centennial Committee in 1970 and was in charge of the Women's Work Day group for Missions for several years.
In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. Myrl loved to play cards and was a part of a ladies' card group that gathered on a regular basis to play "Pitch."
Survivors include three nieces, Cleola Steifferman of California; Betty Willkinson of the state of South Carolina and Kay Frances Wilkinson of the state of Arkansas; one nephew, Don Ferguson of Warsaw; her caregiver and special great niece Brenda Cram of California; also several other great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Myrl was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Ruth Ferguson and Ruby Green and one brother, Daniel Eyman.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 12, at in the Kipp Memorial Addition of the Stover Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover, Friday, August 12.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Christ Lutheran Church or Preferred Hospice.
