Minnie Louise Erna Richardson, age 92, of Florence, died Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia.
She was born May 30, 1915, in Glensted, a daughter of Adolph and Gusta Ida Nolte Kroeschen. Minnie was baptized July 4, 1915, and confirmed March 24, 1928 at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont. She married Otto Richardson on October 20, 1935, at Pyrmont, and he preceded her in death December 25, 1987.
She attended South Chapel grade school and Stover High school.
She was a homemaker, busy raising her family. She also worked for eleven years at the Ralston-Purina Plant in California.
She had been a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church at Pyrmont and the Senior Citizens of Florence.
She enjoyed word puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Ida Mae Staus and husband Virgil of Sedalia and Betty Lou Martin and husband Harold of Knob Noster; one brother, Raymond Kroeschen and wife Irma of Stover; one sister, Rosena Koester of Norman, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband, her parents, two sons, Kenneth Lee Richardson and Leon Junior Richardson, one daughter, Joyce Ann Witte, five brothers, Robert, Otto, Edwin, Fred and August Kroeschen and three sisters, Bertha Loomis, Viola Richardson, and Hulda Self Zimmerschied preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2008, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. Interment will be in the St. John's UCC Cemetery in Florence.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. John's UCC Cemetery in Florence.
