Michael Rex Snodgrass, 69, of Olathe, KS, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at KU Medical Center.
He was born October 14, 1955, in California, MO, son of Rex Allen and Judith Jane (Gainer) Snodgrass.
Mike was a 1974 graduate of California High School and attended State Fair Community College, Kansas City Kansas Community College, and Vatterott and Sullivan College. He attained training as a welder, worked for a time as an addiction counselor, and had a janitorial service, but for the last 32 years he owned and operated Miss Brightside’s Maids, Inc.
Mike enjoyed hunting and crappie fishing. He and his stepfather, Bill, were proud to have won first place in the 2009 Crappie Masters Ultimate Challenge at Truman Lake. He enjoyed taking photos of nature scenery, and taking scenic drives.
Surviving is a sister, Laurie Snodgrass; and two cousins, Julie Jones and Lee Curtis and families.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rex Snodgrass; his mother, Judith Campbell; and stepfather, Bill Campbell.
Memorial services are being planned for Olathe and California, and will be announced at a later date.
Burial will be in California City Cemetery.
