Michael Ray Jett

   Michael Jett, age 67, of Gravois Mills passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.
   It was on the 12th day of October in 1956, that Clifford and Minnie (Monsees) Jett welcomed their son, Michael Ray, into their home in Sedalia.
   Michael was a hard worker. He retired from Gates Corporation in Versailles.
   Some of his favorite hobbies took place outdoors. He liked to fish and ride his Harley Davidson. He also liked to slow down and spend time watching T.V. and movies. He was an avid Chiefs fan. He always cooked big dinners on game days. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
   Left to carry on his legacy is his daughter, Kristin Jett of Ozark; his mom, Minnie Jett of Stover; two grandchildren, Zac Harding and Caden Lepper; a brother, Mark Jett and wife Sue; a sister, Kelley Greenwell and husband Billy; three step children and their spouses, Teres and Jimmy Wood, Tracy and Danny Simmons, and Butch and Tina Schultz; along with other relatives and friends.
   In addition to his dad, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Jett and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Lepper.
   In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated and a private family graveside will be held.
