Matthew William Lindsey

Matthew William Lindsey, 53, of Lubbock, TX, formerly of Pilot Grove, MO, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 4, 2022, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.

He was born January 16, 1969, in Marshall, MO to Harry and Ruth (Fornshell) Lindsey, who preceded him in death.

Matthew enjoyed a life long career of driving trucks, a love of riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family, friends and his kitties.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by long time best friend and brother-in-law, Lon Gilson.

He is survived by sister-in-law, Karen Dick; nieces, Megan and Katrina Dick; nephew, Micheal Dick; cousins, Teddy and Norman Newell; brother-like best friend, Warren Maland; Pete Asjes; and many other extended and beloved family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 11, 2022, at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Pilot Grove, MO. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Pilot Grove Cemetery.
