Marylin L. Rowles, 88, of Syracuse, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Tipton Oak Manor.
Born on February 3, 1936, to Lee and Alpha (Reno) Williams, Marylin grew up in Syracuse, Missouri, where she learned the values of hard work and family. On December 22, 1956, she married Charles E. Rowles, and together they built a beautiful life until his passing.
Marylin dedicated 34 years to the Bilt Well Factory and later worked at the California Jacket Factory and Tipton Oak Manor for a decade. Her strong work ethic and caring nature were evident in all she did. At home, Marylin’s hands were never idle. She found joy in gardening, canning, cross-stitching, quilting, and sewing. She was a member of Syracuse Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Debra Lynn Loganbill (Kent) of Versailles, Charles Wayne Rowles (Julie) of Syracuse, and Connie Sue Watring (Hunter Durley) of Sedalia; her siblings, Lorene Wisdom of Syracuse, Rodney Williams (Janice) of Clarksburg, and Gary Williams (Becky) of Centertown; her grandchildren, Mitch Loganbill (Lindy), Michael Loganbill (Rebekah), Ryan Loganbill (Abby), Rex Loganbill (Ruth), Justin Watring (Missy Webb), Stephanie Edwards, and Courtney Naylor (Randy Williams), as well as her 22 great-grandchildren.
Marylin was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles, her grandson Seth Micah Loganbill, and her parents, all whose memories she carried close to her heart.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton, with Rev. Harold Nicks officiating. Friends are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Syracuse Cemetery, where she will rest beside her husband.
