Mary E. Wall, age 89, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Jefferson City.
She was born May 28, 1923, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Jacob and Emma Hofmann Tripp. Mary was united in marriage to Raymond E. Wall on June 15, 1957, in Jefferson City. He preceded her in death November 18, 2002.
She was employed with Tweedies and Oberman Manufacturing and retired from St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City.
Mary was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson City, where for the past few years she was recognized as their oldest member.
She enjoyed paint by numbers, embroidery and ceramics.
Survivors include two nieces, Patty Ott and husband Palmer of Lohman and Linda Strange of Jefferson City; two great nieces and two great nephews, seven great-great nieces and a great-great nephew, her husband's family, along with other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles and Lorna Tripp and Raymond Tripp and a nephew-in-law, Robert Strange.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville, with friends received from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Rev. David Henry will officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City. Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Presbyterian Church in Jefferson City.
