Mary Jane Niederwimmer

Mary Jane Niederwimmer, 87 of Tipton, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 29 at Tipton Oak Manor.

Mary Jane was born September 6, 1928 in Tipton, Missouri to Lewis and Amanda Jane Dick. On April 16, 1960, she married Harold Franklin Niederwimmer and they made their home together until his passing on March 20, 2004.

Mary Jane was employed many years by American Sales Store in Tipton, however her favorite job was being a housewife. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, canning and gardening and most of all, loved fishing with her husband. She and Harold also loved dogs, especially their German Shepherds.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her stepdaughter Joyce Kay Niederwimmer who passed away June 7, 1972 and her brother Harold Lee Dick who died July 24, 1944 while fighting for our country in WWII.

Funeral services for Mary Jane Niederwimmer will be at 11:00 AM Friday, April 1 at Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton, MO, with burial immediately following in the Masonic Cemetery in Tipton.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
