Marvin A. Cooper Sr., age 67, of Versailles passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016.
He was born December 12, 1948, in Kansas City. The only son of Charley and Mary Acock Cooper.
After living most of his life in Kansas City and working at the Ford Motor Co in Claycomo for fifteen years he moved back to the Cooper home town of Glensted.
Marvin enjoyed having cookouts, fishing, and sitting outside watching nature.
He is survived by one son, Marvin Cooper Jr.; one daughter, Cathy Chadwick both of Versailles; four grandchildren, Leann, Crystal, Lena, and Rickey; five great grandchildren, Madisen, Bailey, Curtis, Kylee, and Cyrus; four sisters, Charlene, Mary, Alisa, and Paula; and many nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the Glensted Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles.
