Martin Andrew Kennedy II

Martin Andrew Kennedy II, age 57, of Jefferson City passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City.

He was born November 24, 1959 in Jefferson City, the only child of Martin Kennedy I and Sharon Lynn (Daly) Kennedy.

Martin grew up in San Diego, California and graduated from Grossmont High School in La Mesa, California. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from New Mexico State University in Silver City, New Mexico. He also did graduate work for New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

He served his country in the United States Air Force.

He was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jefferson City.

Survivors include his father, Martin Kennedy I and his step mother, Penny Kennedy both of Las Vegas, Nevada and step brothers.

Martin is preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Lynn (Daly) Kennedy; his paternal grandparents, Ed and Mary Kennedy; and his maternal grandparents Wallace and Irene Daly.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jefferson City.  Private burial will be in the Versailles Cemetery.
