Louise D. Brosseit, age 79, of Versailles, died Saturday, October 29, 2011, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
She was born July 24, 1932, in Maxwell, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Vernon Elisha and Willa Marie Brittan Roberts. She married Bertas Gray, and to this union four children were born. He preceded her in death.
Louise lived in the Kansas City area for many years, where she was employed at Bell Communications.
For the past 15 years she has called Stover and Versailles her home.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and had an extensive collection of knick-knacks.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Clark and Beverly Gray of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Andy and Shirley Gray of Phoenix, Arizona and Denny and Carol Gray of Huntsville, Alabama; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Steve Cubler of Cullman, Alabama; two brothers, Duane Roberts of Phoenix, Arizona and Stewart Roberts of Kansas City, Missouri; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren, also dear friends Barbara Hoover of Versailles and Juanita O'Doniel of Stover.
A Memorial Service will be held at 9:30 A.M. Monday, October 31, at Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles in the Station 1 Day Room.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
