Linda Lou Wilson

July 19, 1923 — September 27, 2016

Linda Lou Wilson, 93, of Stover died Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Golden Age Living Center in Stover.
She was born July 19, 1923, on the farm northwest of Versailles, MO. A daughter of Jesse E. and Bessie Wahlers Morris.
She married Carl Warren Wilson in March 1946 in Versailles. She attended Ball Elementary and Middle School. She then went to high school at Versailles, where she graduated in 1941.
As a young woman she worked in the Morgan County Court House for the ASCS and the County Agents Office. She later worked for the Stover School as a feeder bus driver. She also was an aid at the Stover School. Later in life she volunteered at the Golden Age Living Center. She was a member of the Stover Legion Auxiliary. She was a member and attended the Stover United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed helping on the farm, doing yard work, singing church songs and taking the family to 4H meetings. She also enjoyed her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Warren Wilson and their three Sons. Carl, Earl and Kirt. Carl has 2 sons Kyle and his wife Katie. Chris and his daughter Tatiana. Earl and wife Lenore, daughter Amy, and son, Benjamin and his wife Mary. Kirt and wife Jo, son, Cody and his wife Holly and their 3 children, Ryan, Bailey and Connor. Daughter Angela and her husband Kelly Viebrock and their two daughters Khloe and Kelsey.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Wanita and her husband Kenneth Chestnut.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Stover United Methodist Church with Pastor Diane Cutler officiating. Interment will be in the Stover Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Benjamin Wilson, Cody Wilson, Chris Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Kelly Viebrock and Jeffery Mitchell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Amy Wilson and Angela Viebrock.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Stover UMC Improvement Fund.
