Linda Kay Strobel

Linda Kay Strobel, age 66, of Russellville, died Friday, April 2, 2010, at her home.
She was born September 20, 1943, in California, a daughter of John and Ethel Gish Comer, her father survives in Jefferson City. Linda was united in marriage to Robert Strobel on November 12, 1961, at the First Christian Church in California. Robert survives at their home.
She was a 1961 graduate of California High School. She retired in 2003, from the Missouri Board of Nursing as an accounting clerk/personnel officer, after 30 years of dedicated service.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville.
Linda enjoyed spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren, and visiting with family and friends. She also loved to go shopping and was a collector of Precious Moments figurines.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Rick Siebert of Jefferson City and Sandra and Bradley Wyss of Russellville; a sister and brother-in-law, Debra and Dan Baird of Holcomb; four grandchildren Bethany and Nathan Siebert and Joshua and Kayla Wyss; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Jean Ellen Comer.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 6, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Russellville with Pastor David Carlson officiating. Interment will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, April 5, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville.
