Leslie Leonard Allison, age 71, of Tipton, MO, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024, at his home.
Leslie was born November 30, 1952, in Jefferson City, MO, a son of Leslie and Velma (Bond Allison), who preceded him in death.
He married his high school sweetheart, Cecilia Lutz on August 5, 1972 in Tipton.
Leslie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being at their lake home. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. He also enjoyed cooking for and entertaining family and friends. He also liked to work with his sons on the family farm. Leslie was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Above all, he loved being with his family and watching his children and grandchildren play sports and everything else in their lives.
In addition to his wife Cecilia, survivors include his three children, Neal Allison (Yolanda) of Tipton, Elizabeth Robinson (Joseph) of St. Louis, and Mark Allison (Jessica) of Lee's Summit; sister, Delores Claas of Tipton; and his five grandchildren, Nina, J.J., Calvin, Crew, and Cora.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Hayes.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. followed by visitation until 7:00 p.m. at Meisenheimer Page-Dady Funeral Home, Tipton, MO
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Tipton, with Father Anthony Viviano, officiating. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Tipton.
