Leonard C. Metscher, age 89, of Stover, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City.

He enjoyed being outdoors on his farm, where he could hunt, fish and enjoy the wildlife that inhabited the land. He loved to tinker on anything with a motor, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
