Leland Taylor

Leland Louise Marriott Taylor, age 85, of Kansas City, KS, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Presbyterian Manor. Leland was born January 6, 1930, in Zora near Stover, a daughter of Raymond and Cloie Kreglinger Marriott. She was a cashier for Safeway for over 30 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Melva Stine and Sherry Jackson and husband Raymond both of Kansas City, KS; two brothers, Melvin "Sonny" Marriott and Mancil Marriott and wife Sue both of Stover; one sister, Lois Bush of Blue Springs; four grandchildren, Kandice, Erika, Amanda, and Kenny; seven great grandchildren. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Wilson; one grandchild, Kale; one great grandchild, Danyael.
A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover with family receiving friends from 12:00 pm (noon) until service time. Interment will be in the Stover Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes.
