Larry Sinclair

Larry Irvin Sinclair, age 62, of Stover, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the University Hospital in Columbia.
He was born July 25, 1952, in Moberly, a son of Irvin and Edna Avery Sinclair. On March 6, 1981 Larry was united in marriage to Jan Kirkman, who preceded him in death on October 19, 2014.
Larry was employed at the North Kansas City Hospital for many years. In 1990 he and Jan moved to Stover to be closer to family. Larry was a member of First Baptist Church in Stover.
Larry enjoyed being with his wife; and collecting DVDs and model horses.
Larry is survived by two cousins that he and Jan raised as sons, Michael Ryun of Florida and Travis and wife Melonie Ryun of Stover; three brothers, Mark and wife Betty Sinclair of Avondale, Paul Sinclair of Kansas City, and Joey Sinclair of St. Joseph; two sisters, Anna Mickelis of Stover and Janet Jones of Laurie; his in-laws, Jim and Ann Black of Stover and Darrell and Linda Kirkman of Collins; and many nieces and nephews. Larry was expecting his first granddaughter, Alivia Ann Marie Ryun, due the first part of March.
In addition to his parents and wife, Larry was preceded in death by, two sisters, Donna and Debbie Sinclair; and one nephew, Michael Sinclair.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at the First Baptist Church in Stover with funeral services following at 12:30 p.m. and a lunch immediately following the service.
