Larry Dale Perkins

Larry D. Perkins, age 68, of Versailles, died Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles.
He was born September 27, 1944, in Fulton, a son of Leslie "Dutch" and Lettie Mae Miller Perkins, who preceded him in death. On July 4, 1984, Larry married Delores Gieser and she survives at the home. He was a 1964 graduate of Fulton High School. Larry was an over-the-road truck driver for many years.
He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, watching Westerns, discovering new places and loving his wife of 28 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Larry Lee Perkins of Columbia; Lori Ann Albin and husband Jason of Pleasant Hill and Thresa Lynn Kowalski-Eppenauer and husband Richard of Sedalia; five grandchildren, Heather, Chance, Travis, Dustyn and Austin, four great grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. A celebration of Larry's Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles with Rev. Dwight Fisher officiating.
