Karen Lindsey

Karen Lindsey, age 79, of Laurie, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Laurie Care Center.
She was born January 9, 1936, in Clifton Springs, NY a daughter of Arthur and Geraldine Walkee Bushart. On March 16, 1991, she was united in marriage to Leo Joe Lindsey in Wentzville, who preceded her in death on December 13, 2002.
She worked with her husband in their store in Versailles.
She enjoyed making craft items, working puzzle books, listening to Gospel music, and spoiling her cat, Cuddles.
Karen is survived by four sons, John Kuffler and wife Bonnie, Marty Carroll and wife Pam of Butler, Dwayne Carroll and wife Diana of Belton, and Pete Kuffler of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Sue Charles of Texas; one grandson, Zane Carrol; one brother, Bill Walker of Orlando, FL; and one sister, Beverly Nemes of Stuart, FL.
Along with her parents and husband, Karen was preceded in death by one son, Brian Charles.
A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, in the Oak Park Addition of the Versailles Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 12:45 p.m. at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Versailles.
