Julia Wyss

 Julie Wyss, age 64, of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, August 7th, 2024, at the University Hospital in Columbia.

 It was on the 11th day of August in 1959 that Herbert and Sylvia (Hodges) Wyss welcomed their daughter, Julia Elaine, into their home.

 She worked as cook for different schools in the area most of her life.

 Julie was a homebody. She liked embroidering and reading. John Grisham books were her favorite. She liked horses and loved her cats. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and occasionally playing board games with them.

 Left to carry on her legacy is her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Renata Eiken of Trimble; her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Jacob Powers of Linn; her two grandsons, Jason and Joshua Powers; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sharon Wyss and Curt and Marsha Wyss; and two sisters, Jackie Whitson and husband Rick and Mary Schlupp; along with other family members and friends.

 She was preceded in death by her parents.

 In keeping with her wishes she will be cremated.
