Judy M. Miller

Judy M. Miller, age 64, of Sturgeon, died Thursday, January 24, 2013, at the Harry S Truman Veterans Hospital in Columbia.
She was born December 26, 1948, in Artisia, New Mexico a daughter of Robert Eugene and Mildred Marie Harrison Evans. On November 30, 2000, in Columbia, she was united in marriage to Thomas Miller who survives at their home.
She was a graduate of Kenai High School in Kenai, Alaska and attended Missouri Valley College in Marshall.
Judy was employed as a court clerk/recorder in the Anchorage Court System, as a paralegal for law firms in central Missouri and S.H.B. Intellectual Properties in Kansas City, Missouri.
She enjoyed reading, buying antiques, doing crossword puzzles and trying to learn the game of golf. She was a movie buff, especially horror movies. However, her greatest enjoyment came from being with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mildred Evans of Soldata, Alaska; her twin daughter and son, Katrina Read and Kevin Sell and Kristian Read and Kathy Goans all of Columbia; stepson, Shane T. Miller and Emily Hill of Indiana; her brothers and sisters, James Evans and wife Annie of Hidden Valley Lake, California; Kathy Lewis and husband Bobby of Denton, Texas; Lisa Evans of Great Falls, Montana; John Evans and Robin of Soldotna, Alaska; four grandchildren, Tristan William Young, Hannah Marie Sell, Mason S. Miller and Alexis Miller, along with ten nieces and nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Marion Sue Evans.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31, at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Russellville with the family receiving friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday. Interment will be in the Spring Garden Cemetery in Miller County.
