Judy Ann Kraus, 70, of Boonville, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at her home.
She was born January 8, 1952, in Camdenton, daughter of Jim and Ollie Mae (Christensen) Jones.
Judy was a graduate of Laura Speed Elliott High School in 1970.
She worked as a nurse for Dr. Kronk for several years and later as a phlebotomist for the Cooper County Clinic and Boyce and Bynum.
Judy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society. Judy enjoyed cooking, sewing, being outdoors, gardening and helping her husband on the farm. She loved spending time with her family and will be remembered as a spiritual, loving and forgiving person.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Virgil, of the home; two children, Betty Ann Edwards (Tim), of Boonville, and Anthony Kraus (Terrie), of Boonville; five grandchildren, Dakota Broeker (Brittannie), Morgan Isaac (Logan), Brynn Edwards, Andrew Kraus (Alexys), and Lawson Edwards; and six great-grandchildren, Abigaile, Silas, Syrena, Gentry, Madilyn and Hallie.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Prayers of the Rosary will be said at 9:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove, followed by visitation, and then a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Hometown Homecare Hospice, in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Pilot Grove.
