Juanita Robbins

Juanita Robbins, age 92, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016, at her home with her daughter by her side.
She was born July 3, 1924, in Wild Cherry, Arkansas to Edward Ezekiel and Lucy L. Rand Marchant. On July 11, 1943 Juanita was united in marriage to Wendell Robbins in Healing Springs, Arkansas. They shared many happy years of marriage and together they had one daughter, Glenda.
Juanita was nineteen years old during World War II and worked on aircrafts in Oklahoma, making her one of the iconic "Rosie the Riveter."
She spent most of her life as a homemaker. She liked to garden, bake and craft. She also enjoyed attending church and reading the Bible. Her greatest enjoyment came from the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Juanita's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Fields; four grandchildren, Randy Brown and friend Susan, Rusty Brown and wife Melissa, Rhonda Dinkins and Fiance Shannon, and Robbie Brown and wife Jamie; twelve great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; three siblings, two sisters, Mildred and Elda, and, one brother Willard and wife, Lena; along with many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband, Wendell; by her son-in-laws, Roland Brown & Bill Fields; a granddaughter-in-law, Shawn Brown, a great grandson, Royce Brown; and by seven siblings, four sisters, Reable, RubyMae, Edna, and Imogene, and three brothers, Heaber, Jesse, and Lee
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2016 at the Stover Cemetery with Howard Parsons officiating.
