Joyce Evelyn Woolery

Joyce Evelyn Woolery, 75, of Sedalia, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023 at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City, MO.

She was born August 18, 1948 in Stover, MO a daughter of Charles Oscar and Gladys Marie (Lawson) Smith. On March 5, 1966 in Stover, MO she married Jackie Lee Woolery who proceeded her in death on December 8, 2007.

Joyce was a member of the Sedalia Moose Lodge No. 1494. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching people sing karaoke and going to the State Fair. Joyce loved the time she would get to spend with her family and friends.

Survivors include one son, Jody Woolery (Heather) of Sedalia; two daughters, Angie Connell of Sedalia and Idee Wilson (Don) of Smithton; nine grandchildren, Alexis Woolery, Shelby Woolery, Joseph Hawkins (Kenzie), Adam Hawkins (DeAnna), Jacob Hawkins, Dustin Connell (Therisa), Tylor Wilson, Bryce Wilson, and Nakia Wilson; four great-grandchildren, James, Jack, and Lilly Hawkins, Kyleigh Connell and one great-grandchild on the way.

In addition to both of her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Marcy Hawkins; four siblings, Don Smith, Genevieve Hall, Flora Rumans, and Hazel Griffin.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the Scrivner-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Stover. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Stover Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Sedalia Moose Lodge No. 1494.
