Jerry D. Conway, age 70, of Stover, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia.
He was born December 11, 1942, in Bunker, a son of Ruby Jack and Julia Toby Conway. On June 10, 1970, in University City, he Jerry was united in marriage to Glenda Crabb, who survives at their home.
He was a graduate of Bunker High School. He served his country in the Army Reserves.
Jerry was employed at the Chrysler Plant in Fenton, retiring as an inspector.
He and Glenda retired to the Stover community, where he could enjoy hunting, fishing and the quiet life.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by four children, Jerry Dale Conway, Jr., of Laurie; James Douglas Conway of Stover; Belinda Ann Tyree and husband Justin of the state of Virginia and Kathy Marie Evans and fiancé David Dunn of Hillsboro; one brother, Alvin Conway and wife Elizabeth of Potosi; two sisters, Emmie Wallen and husband David of Fenton and JoAnn Reynolds and husband Tom of Afton; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Paul Conway.
A Memorial Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, at the Gerald City Park in Gerald, Missouri
