Jennie Martin

Jennie Martin, age 73, of Stover, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at her daughter's home in Stover following a brief illness.
She was born October 3, 1941, on the family farm in Pyrmont, a daughter of Harold Franklin and Nigel Hibdon Randall.
Jennie owned and operated Jennie's Restaurant in Lee's Summit for many years.
Jennie was a wonderful cook; she enjoyed watching the cooking channel for meal ideas and Nancy Grace for conversation material.
She loved being with her family and enjoyed visiting with friends. Her home was always open to provide a place to stay for someone in need.
Survivors include four children, Kathy Holden of Blue Springs; Ronda Galbraith and companion Bill Elkins of Stover; Eddie Galbraith of Versailles and Darrell Galbraith of Florence; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Donna Randall of Florence and Cody and Kay Randall of Potosi; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Waneta and Bill Mertgen and Vickey and Walt Worthley of Stover; eight grandchildren, Jeremy and Rick Holden, Crystal Twenter, Randy, Daniel and Jordan Galbraith, Brandalyn Heyer and Trevor Galbraith, twenty-three great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Dianna Galbraith and Debbie Lindsey, one grandson, Travis Galbraith, and one brother, Randy Randall.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
