Jeanie Wornell

August 19, 1951 — February 4, 2014

Jeanie Lee Wornell, age 62, of Lees Summit, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014, in Lee's Summit.
She was born in Kansas City on August 19, 1951, a daughter of John W. and Helen D. McGhee Nash.
Jeanie moved to Stover as a young adult. She later returned to the Kansas City area to work and raise her own family. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing and camping. However her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. She will now be laid to rest back where she called home. Survivors include her life partner, Bill Bundy; three children, Georgia Williams and husband Mark, Mark Wornell and wife Tiffany and Cody Wornell; two brothers, Barry Holman and J.W. Nash and wife Susan; three sisters, Betty Daulton and partner Scott Graham; Sandy Nash and Judy McGinnis and husband Marty; three grandchildren, Jessica and Tiffany Williams and Matthew Wornell,
along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Charlie Putman and John T. Nash. A Celebration of Jeanie's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home in Stover. Inurnment will take place in the West Lawn Addition of the Versailles Cemetery at a later date.
